Dancing Competitions at the Highland Games

Competitions at the Highland Games

All our Highland Games events throughout the summer months listed below are governed by SOBHD rules and are registered with the Board. Dancers are therefore required to produce their registration cards at the event. Overseas competitors must be registered with their national registration body and must also produce their registration cards.

You can download entry forms from this page for those competitions yet to start.

Note: We much prefer to get your entries either by post or email. Phone calls are ok but it means we have to take a hand written note, usually when we're busy doing something else, and then try not to lose it amongst all the other paperwork that floats around here.

To download an entry form, right-click the form''s link on this page and choose [Save Target As…] (Internet Explorer) or [Save Link As…] (Firefox) and save the file to your desktop. From there the form can be viewed and printed with Adobe Reader. Most computers have this program already. If you don''t you can download it free from the Adobe site.

When sending in an SAE for your competitor number, please note that we process your entry about 2-3 weeks prior to the actual competition. So if you entered early please don’t worry if you don’t receive the number back immediately.
